Annual Ranger Muster 2010 - San Antonio - September 14 through 19

This year's muster is in the great state of Texas, near the site of the pivotal event in the Texas Revolution – the Alamo!  It is fitting that we gather there, as sacrifice echoes across the years, from the courtyards of the Alamo to the halls of Brooke Army Medical Center where the cost of freedom is visible every day.

With our HQ located at the Crowne Plaza Riverwalk, a major theme of this year’s Muster will be to honor our wounded Rangers recovering in San Antonio.  We will identify and include these Rangers from Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in as many Muster events as possible – those events include:

  • Battlefield tour with three stops:  The Battle of Conception; The Battle for Bexar; and The Alamo
  • Riverwalk dinner cruise featuring cuisine from the fine Margarita Manhattan.  Sign up early as space of this activity is limited to only 40 seats.
  • A best ball golf tournament (see below)
  • Japanese Tea Garden tour for the ladies (and shopping)
  • An evening at the Coyote Ugly
  • General membership meeting and Banquet

Banquet Guest Speaker

BG Joseph Caravalho, Jr., Commanding General, Brooke Army Medical Center and the Southern Regional Medical Command (Provisional), Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
